Which Faith Did The Apostles Have?

Image
The Faith of the Apostle Paul What was Paul's faith like? Paul, in his declaration of belief, revealed that he received a comprehensive education and thorough training under Gamaliel, an esteemed law teacher of his time, strictly adhering to the customs of his ancestors. However, he acknowledged that despite his adherence to the law, it could not save him from his sins. In truth, he had been a persecutor of Jesus, our Savior.  One fateful day, while traveling to Damascus, he encountered Jesus and became a proclaimer of His gospel. Paul possessed unwavering faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, who entered this world, received baptism from John to cleanse all sins, and suffered on the Cross to bear the judgment for those transgressions. In essence, Paul's heart was filled with faith in the redemption of sin. In Galatians 3:27, Paul declared, "For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ," thus affirming his belief that Jesus' baptism was

What Is the Original Sin of Humans?

Image
The Scriptural concept of original sin states that every human is born with wickedness and often engages in tremedous amount of sins . The human flesh consistently indulges in sin throughout its lifetime ( Gen 6:5) . It is not an overstatement to describe the human body as a sin-producing factory. The human flesh sustains itself on sins despised by God, consuming them as a daily meal ( Job 15:16 ). The human flesh finds enjoyment in committing acts of adultery, engaging in lewdness, and defying the will of God. Do People Really Know Themselves? When observing people, it becomes evident that they lack self-awareness. Despite Socrates' famous quote to "Know thyself," people genuinely remain oblivious to their own true nature. They are unaware of the deep-seated sins residing within them. According to the Gospel of Mark, Chapter 7, verses 21-23, there exist 12 kinds of sins inside the heart of a person originally. The heart of committing murder, the heart of lust, the heart

Why Jesus was Baptized?

Image
Without placing our trust in the baptism of Jesus, salvation is unattainable. This is precisely why the Apostle Peter proclaimed that the water, symbolizing the baptism of Jesus, serves as a "symbolic representation that brings about salvation" (1 Peter 3:21). Jesus comes to John at the jordan river to be baptized Matthew 3:13-16 [13]Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. [14]And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?” [15]But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him. [16]When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. When Jesus underwent baptism, He spoke to John, saying, "Allow it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteo

The Gospel of water and Spirit

Even though people are able to be saved from all their sins by simply believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit written in the Bible, they are neither willing to hear nor to believe in this truth, therefore they are on the verge of destruction not knowing God’s free gift contained in this truth. It becomes clear that the reason for this phenomenon is due to the preachers, clergymen, and leaders of today’s Christianity.  God tells us to get rid of the false prophets. It is deplorable to see that though it is certainly true that there are too many false prophets nowadays, most Christians do not perceive the prophets’ false teachings as something false. However, regardless of whom God raises and uses, He raises the servants of the gospel of the water and the Spirit, and they shout it out. How many people in this world indeed are willing to listen to those who shout out the gospel of the water and the Holy Spirit, which God acknowledges?  Read more www.bjnewlife.org

WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION

The Apostle Paul cautioned the Saints of Philippi, saying: “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION with FEAR and trembling” (Philippians 2:12). This passage is a Word of admonition (cautionary advice) to the people of God (the Saints) who have been washed, sanctified, and justified in the name of our LORD Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. But there are so many “untaught” and  unstable people who misinterpret the passage to their own spiritual demolition.  As we share and preach the gospel of the water and the Spirit which is the embodiment of God’s “RIGHTEOUSNESS” to people, we encounter so many legalistic Christians who use Scripture passages like the one above to counter-attack us when we say that salvation is not by works of the “LAW,” but it is only attained through “FAITH” in the atoning work of the “GRACE” of Jesus Christ (John 1:17). But still, they misunderstand us in th

The True Living Bread & Water (5)

Hey Guys😊, how you all doing? T hanks be to the Almighty God for the beginning of a New Week.  Our Scripture reading is in Ecclesiastes where it is written:    “The race is not for the swift, nor the BATTLE to the STRONG, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all” (Ecclesiastes 9:11).*      If one of the renown kings in Israel says that “the BATTLE is not to the STRONG,” it is a true saying and an authentic statement which was made based on *fact-proven* evidences in the Bible. Due to this, David the King also spoke about these things in a rhetorical question and answering it himself. He said, “Who is the King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in BATTLE” (Psalm 24:8)      So whiles JESUS CHRIST our God is “strong” and “mighty in BATTLE,” we are not. And the reason is because we are mortals who are weak, powerless and SINFUL. Therefore God Himself “FOUGHT” the “BATTLE” for us, and H
